The brand name JOKOLADE is a combination of the founder’s name Joko and the German word for chocolate, ‘Schokolade’. Joko Winterscheidt, a German television host and entrepreneur, realised that the conditions to make chocolate are far from sweet. He decided to go a different way and to join Tony’s Open Chain to take direct responsibility for the entire supply chain and to support Open Chain's mission that together, we will end exploitation in cocoa.
